#### A good strategy to combat confirmation bias is to note and attempt to answer arguments critical of yours --- Often the unexamined idea is one we may choose to exclude from analysis because of it's intent to call into question our beliefs or ideas. If the argument challenges our ideas, & beliefs and has merit for consideration then it is good science to investigate and fully answer to each of the arguments.
