#### [[All work requires the health of the human body]]
---
People who use their body for work, their body **is their job** like singers and laborers.
For [[Knowledge Worker|knowledge workers]] their brain **is their job**. The brain is a part of your body so it can be said that human beings always have to use their body for work.
This is obvious but what i found interesting is that we commonly say people like Athletes, Singers, Laborers, anything *Physical* requires the use of one's body for work. With [[Knowledge Worker|knowledge workers]] and those that primarily use their brain & thinking for their work, the comparison seems absent. The brain is a part of the body, without it you'd be in the same situation as a pro athlete with a broken femur, unable to perform your work.
Just like [[Mental Health]] issues, it seems that the invisible brain is not really considered *"part of the body"* and unable to affect one's work and life. Arguably the brain is the most important part of the body and everything stems from it, literally `BRAIN STEM`. The thought of a [[Knowledge Worker]] in their 20's suffering a stroke or an older [[Knowledge Worker]] getting Alzheimers doesn't seem to click with them that the brain is part of the body and if the brain is affected then you're just as vulnerable to physical damage as an athlete who *"uses their body for work"*.
