> Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic.
> -- Arthur C. Clarke
Every generation sees the creation of ever advancing technology to the point where if you gave modern technology to someone from generations past it would seem like magic to them.
In the present it seems that those who can write code and program computers, creating technology with colored words on computer screens are the equivalent of magicians. Writing code is a modern version of magic and spells. By writing specific words, symbols, and structures you can change and create.
The people who are creating technology and writing code are the wielders of magic in the modern world until sufficiently more advanced technology is invented.
